A word on finishes
I always aim to fit the finish to the project’s expected use: VOC-free hardwax oil on general-purpose furniture, lacquer on heavily trafficked surfaces, food-safe finishes on cutting boards, etc.

Cleaning
To keep products looking their best, clean occasionally with a damp rag and dry immediately. Do not soak and do not use chemical cleaners. For more robust messes, use a small amount of soapy water and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
